Red Sox Are Off To Saint John |

The Bathurst Red Sox earn a spot in the Provincials by defeating the Eel River Crossing Black Sox 2-0 in the Best of 3 "A" finals. Bathurst won Game 1 by the score of 7-2 and then won Game 2 by an 11-4 score.
The Red Sox will now travel to Saint John where they will try to repeat as Provincial Champions. The Portland Pub Petes will be the host. Hampton will represent the South, Grand Falls from the Miramichi Valley, and Bathurst from Restigouche-Chaleur.
The tournament will be played at Memorial Field. The Schedule will be as follows:
Fri Sept 4 at 6:00...Portland vs. Hampton
Fri Sept 4 at 9:00...Bathurst vs. Grand Falls
Sat Sept 5 at 10:00..Grand Falls vs. Portland
Sat Sept 5 at 1:00...Hampton vs. Bathurst
Sat Sept 5 at 4:00...Bathurst vs. Portland
Sat Sept 5 at 7:00...Hampton vs. Grand Falls
Sun Sept 6 at 12:00..Championship Game 1
Sun Sept 6 at 3:00...Championship Game 2 (if necessary)
